Where The Bat Comes From

This is the baseball bat analogy I keep coming back to. It comes from one night when I was young, and from my mother. She showed me what standing up for yourself looks like, and I have carried that swing with me ever since. The bat in my artwork is hers.

One swing, a clear target, no asking for permission. That is the idea behind the swinging bat GIFs for “The Ring” and the artwork around the single.
